Experience or Training Required:
1. Graduation from a business or administrative program and one year work experience in administrative functions; or two years equivalent work experience in administrative functions.
2. Ability to type accurately at least 45 wpm to meet the work flow of the office.
3. Computer experience: Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Office applications, Excel, and database.
4. Organized and efficient work habits with ability to prioritize.
5. Ability to work under pressure and with distractions.
6. Professional telephone manner and ability to communicate information courteously to general public, paid staff, and volunteers.
7. Ability to work with diverse paid staff, volunteers, and visitors who have diverse needs.
8. Ability to use a variety of office equipment.
9. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
10. Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
11. Ability to proofread and correct errors in grammar and spelling.
12. Willingness to work flexible hours occasionally.
13. Spanish language skills preferred.
