Experience or Training
1. Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent experience, for a minimum of 3 years, sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job listed above.
2. Experience working with students, instructors, volunteers and Authorized Providers in both aquatics and classroom taught Red Cross programs preferred.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer skills.
4. Experience with database reporting and basic accounting practices preferred.
5. Organized and efficient work habits with an aptitude for detail work and the ability to prioritize and work independently. Positive conflict resolution skills required.
6. Proven ability to meet and exceed high personal and organization goals, objectives and quotas.
7. Instructor Authorization as a Red Cross FA/CPR/AED Instructor must be maintained.
8. Effective Team Player with the ability to work with diverse paid staff, volunteers and clients who have diverse needs.
9. Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure and with distractions.
10. Willingness to work flexible hours, as required; dependability a must!
11. Willingness to travel between various office locations in Charlotte, Lake Norman and Statesville as needed to meet with AP customers and for department and Chapter meetings.
12. Spanish language skills a plus.
Required Licenses and/or Certificates:
North or South Carolina driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Lay Responder CPR/AED + First Aid Basic Level Certification
Lay Responder Instructor Certification w/in 6mos of appointment start date.
